ABOUT
Elisabeth Daem (b. 1990, Brussels) is a Brussels-based lawyer with ample experience in commercial & intellectual property law. She advises and assists clients in various industries (such as consumer goods, retail and technology), with a specific interest in the creative and cultural industries.
She provides legal services concerning all main fields of general business law as well as in the field of IP law, media & advertising, art, e-commerce and distribution law.
In addition, she is also affiliated with the law department of the KULeuven (at the Centre for IT and IP Law), she regularly publishes legal articles and blogposts, speaks at seminars and is a member of the Belgian Copyright Association (BVA) and the Benelux Association for Trademark & Designs (BMM).
MISSION
Elisabeth’s aim is to provide straightforward, hands-on, pragmatic legal assistance to all actors within the creative and cultural sector, media industry and IP-driven enterprises, so that they can focus carefree on the substance of their work and the realisation of their creations and business.
Having a background in art herself, she is constantly surrounded by creatives in her network and embedded in the contemporary developments in the arts.
She supports her creative network (from individuals and start-ups to SME’s) by listening and understanding the sector.
